Dr. Dotson’s research focuses on the effective management of the public health infrastructure and healthcare delivery system, and much of his work addresses the impact of leadership on organizational performance. He founded and leads the Health Equity Leadership Pipeline Collaborative (The Collaborative), which provides innovative, relevant, and scholarly research on health professions and health education training methods to increase the impact of healthcare leadership addressing health equity issues. Dr. Dotson’s research goal is to find ways to achieve organizational effectiveness in health systems by leveraging workforce and leadership development initiatives.
