It's not uncommon among cell phone users, but you may have these experiences more frequently if you crave reassurance from your social relations, according to new research.
IHPI member Daniel Kruger and colleagues found that people with higher attachment anxiety — high levels of insecurity in interpersonal relationships — are more prone to phantom cell rings and notifications.
