Two webinars offer evidence-based expertise and insights
As part of an ongoing series of webinars intended to help members of the public connect with U-M experts virtually during the time of COVID-19, several IHPI members discussed topics and research findings related to healthy aging in two events in September 2020.
The first, hosted by IHPI Director John Z. Ayanian, M.D., M.P.P., focused on healthy aging for body and brain, and drew on findings from the National Poll on Healthy Aging that's based at IHPI, as well as other work by our members.
Dr. Preeti Malani, director of the National Poll on Healthy Aging and a professor of internal medicine
Dr. Julie Bynum, director of the Center to Accelerate Population Research in Alzheimer's and a professor of internal medicine
Dr. Donovan Maust, associate director of geriatric psychiatry and associate professor of psychiatry
