Dr. Swenson’s health services research focuses on improving health outcomes in gynecology. She has a particular interest in quality improvement efforts around hysterectomy and the prevention and treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, particularly in older women. Dr. Swenson also has a general interest in optimizing the balance between healthcare resources and patient outcomes using evidence-based strategies.
