Biography

Dr. Schoeni studies labor economics, the family, aging, and welfare policy. Some of his work has investigated changes in old-age health status and disability, the effects of welfare reform on various outcomes, the economic consequences of workplace injuries, and poverty among older women. His research also focuses on welfare and poverty, economic and demographic aspects of aging, socioeconomic disparities in health, and labor economics.
