Throughout Michigan Medicine, there are remarkable stories of discoveries and achievements in basic science, clinical, and translational research that need to be shared. The Frontier Seminar Series, hosted by Bishr Omary, Chief Scientific Officer and Executive Vice Dean for Research, provides a platform for storytelling. Dr. Omary invites you to attend as many seminars in the series as you can. The Frontier Seminar Organizing Committee includes Drs. Rodica Busui, Gabriel Corfas, Karl Jepsen, and John Traynor.
This Frontier Seminar will cover Medicaid Expansion and feature Drs. Renu Tipirneni and Sarah Miller. This seminar will be facilitated by Dr. John Ayanian.
The seminar will be held from 4–5 pm in the Ford Auditorium at the University Hospital. The fast-paced hour will include two 20-minute presentations followed by 20 minutes of interaction between the two speakers, Dr. Ayanian, and the audience. Informal discussion will follow at a reception.
